Responsibilities

• Create, write, edit, and publish engaging digital content for social media, websites, blogs, email communications, and other marketing channels.
• Develop photo and video content that highlights OHI's programs, events, employees, and accomplishments of persons served.
• Maintain a content calendar and ensure content is timely, accurate, professional, and consistent with OHI's mission and brand.
• Manage and regularly update OHI's social media platforms, website, and blog content.
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages as appropriate, and use analytics to improve content and audience engagement.
• Promote agency news, events, fundraisers, advocacy initiatives, employment opportunities, and community activities.
• Create content that supports employee recruitment, fundraising, donor engagement, community outreach, and organizational initiatives.
• Collaborate with Human Resources, the Foundation, leadership, and program staff to identify stories and content opportunities.
• Attend agency events and activities to capture content and promote OHI's programs, people, and impact.
• Assist with digital and print marketing materials, including newsletters, flyers, brochures, annual reports, presentations, and promotional materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field
• Experience in digital marketing, social media, communications, or content creation; nonprofit experience preferred
• Strong writing, editing, photography, videography, and storytelling skills
• Experience managing content across social media, websites, email, and other digital platforms
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to work in office in Murry Hill, NJ with travel to residential, day program, and community engagement activates/events; approximately 50% travel
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Familiarity with nonprofit organizations and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
• Commitment to the mission and values of Our House, Inc.
• Experience With Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and social media management tools
