Job Summary

Own the teaching plan for a 10-month contract (24 credits across fall and spring), serve as the primary recruiter and advisor for the marketing concentration and minor, manage multiple course preparations, and contribute to advising, curriculum development, assessment, and ongoing professional engagement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The teaching requirement for this 10-month contract is 24 credits (8 classes) between the Fall and Spring semesters and will include a combination of undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing.
  • The successful candidate will also serve as the primary contact for student recruitment and advising for the marketing concentration and minor.
  • It is likely that the required teaching load will involve 5-6 different course preparations.
  • All faculty are expected to serve the Mount by advising students majoring in the school's programs, developing course curriculum, participating in assessment, remaining current in their discipline, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or Graduate degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence.

Preferred

  • Professional or industry experience in the field.
  • Prior university-level teaching experience.
  • Evidence of scholarly engagement and professional development.
