Job Summary

Own the marketing faculty role with responsibility for a 24-credit teaching load across Fall and Spring, serving as the primary contact for recruitment and advising in the marketing concentration and minor, and contributing to curriculum development, assessment, and program duties.

  • Lead teaching across undergraduate and graduate finance courses with 24 credits and 5-6 course preparations.
  • Act as the main advisor for students in the marketing concentration and minor, and participate in program assessment and curriculum development.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The teaching requirement for this 10-month contract is 24 credits (8 classes) between the Fall and Spring semesters and will include a combination of undergraduate and graduate courses in finance.
  • The successful candidate will also serve as the primary contact for student recruitment and advising for the marketing concentration and minor.
  • It is likely that the required teaching load will involve 5-6 different course preparations.
  • All faculty are expected to serve the Mount by advising students majoring in the school's programs, developing course curriculum, participating in assessment, remaining current in their discipline, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or Graduate degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence.

Preferred

  • Professional or industry experience in the field.
  • Prior university-level teaching experience.
  • Evidence of scholarly engagement and professional development.
