Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organization’s media partnershipsand monetizationstrategies in alignment with broader commercial objectivesto maximize revenue, audience growth, and brand exposure.
  • Lead negotiations forand execution ofbroadcast, streaming, radio,content licensing,and digital distribution agreements.
  • Identify, develop, and overseestrategic relationships withbroadcastingnetworks, streaming platforms, media agencies,technology platforms,and content partners.
  • Provide strategic expertise and recommendations toleague and team leadership on media rights opportunities and long-term distribution planningto support commercial growth and audience expansion.
  • Lead strategic planning efforts with media partners to expand distribution, develop new content opportunities, and maximize audience engagement.
  • Developintegrated partnership opportunitiesthat combinemedia assets, sponsorshipprograms, branded content,athlete storytelling,and fan engagement initiatives.
  • Partner withPartnerships andAsset Developmentteams to enhancepartnervalueand support revenue growth objectivesthrough media exposure and activation.
  • Developbusiness cases, including financial analyses, that support media partnership opportunities, audience growth initiatives, and revenue-generating investmentsacross digital, social, and emerging media platforms.
  • Establish performance metrics and reporting frameworks to evaluate partnership effectiveness, fan growth, content performance, and revenue outcomes.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and evolving consumer media behaviors to identify new opportunities for value creation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in BusinessAdministration, Sports Management, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in sports media, broadcasting, digital media, partnerships,commercial business development,or related industries
  • Proven track record negotiating and managing complex media partnerships and commercial agreements to support revenue generation
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives
  • Strong understanding of sports broadcasting, streaming ecosystems, digital content distribution, and audience analytics
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, high-growth environment while balancing strategic and operational priorities
