Job Description
Responsibilities
- This individual is responsible for the organization's advancement and sustainability through developing and executing development and marketing strategies.
- This position is responsible for all aspects of Marketing, and fundraising to include: annual campaigns, major gift cultivation, endowment building and grant management.
- This role provides flexibility for occasional remote work (primarily Topeka state office), with periodic required travel.
- This position leads the Marketing and Development Team, Monday through Friday, providing support to all departments within JAG-K.
Requirements
- a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar field
- 4 years of experience in fundraising and development
- valid driver’s license
- able to work well independently while managing multiple priorities
- live in Kansas or are willing to relocate
- demonstrated experience successfully leading a team
