Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that aligns with Finseca’s growth and advocacy goals.
  • Translate Finseca’s mission, policy priorities, and member value into clear, compelling narratives across all channels.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across digital, print, events, and media.
  • Build and manage campaigns, content, and tools that directly support our membership growth. (e.g., pitch decks, one-pagers, email workflows, landing pages).
  • Partner closely with the growth team to understand pipeline needs and design marketing initiatives that drive qualified leads, conversions, and member engagement.
  • Use data and analytics to track campaign performance and refine efforts to better support member growth.
  • Support strategic communications that elevate Finseca’s advocacy work and policy priorities, especially to members, prospects, and corporate partners.
  • Translate complex legislative and regulatory issues into accessible, persuasive messages that reinforce Finseca’s value proposition as the advocacy leader for the profession.
  • Ensure that advocacy and policy communications are aligned with the organization’s broader brand and membership strategy.
  • Oversee Finseca’s branding to ensure a cohesive and professional presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; marketing, communications, public relations, political science, or related field preferred.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, including leadership of a team.
  • Demonstrated success in building and executing membership marketing strategies that support sales or membership growth.
  • Proven ability to translate complex policy or technical topics into clear, persuasive messaging for multiple audiences.
  • Strong background in digital marketing, including email campaigns, social media, web, and marketing automation tools.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio of campaigns or materials that show impact.
  • Experience working in or with membership organizations, associations, or advocacy-focused groups preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with sales or membership teams and operate in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
