Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Creative brief development for campaigns spanning the entire marketing funnel
  • Collaboration with creative teams throughout the creative process from brief, to concepting, and into production
  • Distillation of key learnings from qualitative and quantitative research, and past campaign performance in partnership with the Consumer Insights team
  • Development of audience-first communications plans that align messages, media, and audiences across paid, owned, earned, and shared.
  • Establish strong, collaborative, trusting relationships across Walmart Creative and our partners.
  • Challenge the status quo in the spirit of delivering creative that drives connection and action.
  • Be relentlessly curious. Re-frame existing challenges in a new light that creates whitespace for ideas and activations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Creative Strategy and Comms Planning experience at an in-house or external creative agency
  • Proven track record of articulating clear and compelling customer insights in tight creative briefs
  • Experience working closely with creative teams from briefing, conception and into production
  • Skilled researcher and analyst comfortable with a variety of quantitative and qualitative inputs and identifying what is most relevant
  • Possess a keen understanding of how to connect business goals and brand objectives to clear KPIs
  • Deep understanding of and experience with the media landscape
  • Excellent deck/narrative building and presentation skills to educate, influence buy-in, and sell through ideas
