Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes the brand activation strategy for the US market, focusing on outdoor and running performance, ensuring alignment with global and regional strategies.
  • Engages new and existing consumers through grassroots events, partnerships, and activations to enhance brand awareness, affinity, and market presence in key cities and outdoor hubs.
  • Collaborates with internal teams, external partners, and local agencies to implement and manage marketing initiatives, trade activations, and consumer engagement plans, ensuring they align with KPIs and brand goals.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for outdoor and running activations, providing leadership for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Develops product training and education tools for DTC retail teams and wholesale sales associates to enhance product knowledge and sales efficacy
  • Leads the planning, execution, and measurement of consumer and trade activations, ensuring effective use of budgets and delivering against defined.
  • A amplifies brand presence by identifying and collaborating with relevant local and national partners, events, and consumer touchpoints to create meaningful connections with the outdoor and running communities.
  • Works closely with global and regional brand teams, providing feedback during the marketing plan creation process and securing best practices for implementing global strategies in the US market.
  • Manages budgets effectively, prioritizing high-impact projects that engage target consumers while driving brand visibility and growth.
  • Analyzes the US outdoor and running consumer landscape to identify new opportunities for impactful brand activations and campaigns

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field required
  • Five to six (5-6) years of related experience and/or training in brand marketing, event management and product education/training tool development.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Passionate about the outdoors and running.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Existing knowledge or desire to understand outdoor and running sport and the culture surrounding it
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of strategic thinking
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong negotiation skills and ability to present effectively to groups at all organizational levels
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills
