Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage shopper market research and data analysis
  • Collaborate with Brand Teams, Retail Manager, Chain Teams, and Sales Operations to create and communicate compelling data/insight driven sell decks and shopper strategy.
  • Responsible for achieving goals as assigned and aligned with national strategic priorities; focus brands, Win CO/NC/MI, channel initiatives, alignment with national calendar, programming overlays for brand strategy, etc.
  • Develop programming objectives, program briefs, maintain company alignment for channel strategy, and customize programming for key growth customers.
  • Integrate National programs into Local Sales campaigns with customizable programming
  • Partner with BAM/activation team to ensure alignment and synergies for national priorities
  • Provide canned selling slides to all field sales for pillar programming
  • Continue vetting new digital technology and customer facing platforms
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of marketing experience or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred
  • Prior Shopper Marketing experience within another large CPG organization, preferred
  • Beer/Alcohol Beverage Industry experience desired
  • Experience within the on premise, restaurant chain environment desired.
  • National Account Management and prior work with field sales teams a plus.
  • Understanding of promotional tactics and traditional marketing vehicles
  • Ability to read and analyze financials, consumer research, and syndicated data and trends
  • Strong strategic, conceptual thinking, financial, analytical, drive for results, selling & negotiating skills
  • Ability to manage many projects and be strategic thinker with strong leadership skills
  • Expert knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office
  • Advanced verbal and written communication and public speaking skills

Preferred

  • Prior Shopper Marketing experience within another large CPG organization, preferred
  • Beer/Alcohol Beverage Industry experience desired
  • National Account Management and prior work with field sales teams a plus
