Job Summary

You will own end-to-end multimedia storytelling from field capture to polished assets and support campaigns, collaborating with the Marketing team on creative projects.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Capture authentic photo and video content of campers, staff, activities, events, and daily camp life
  • Conduct interviews with campers, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners
  • Develop written stories and content for websites, social media, email campaigns, newsletters, and other communications
  • Capture candid and posed photography for marketing, communications, publications, social media, and digital platforms
  • Film interviews, b-roll, lifestyle footage, and other multimedia content
  • Edit photo and video content into polished, public-facing materials
  • Identify meaningful moments and stories that demonstrate the impact of True Friends programs
  • Assist with social media content planning and storytelling
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team and other departments on creative projects and campaigns
  • Contribute creative ideas for storytelling, communications, and seasonal campaigns

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in photography, video, writing, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Creativity and a strong eye for compelling stories and moments
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
  • Initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to learn
  • Comfort working in active, outdoor, and changing environments
  • Ability to work around campers, staff, volunteers, and individuals with a range of abilities and needs
  • Ability to pass the required organizational background study
