Responsibilities

• Research silicone focused healthcare market growth trends and competitive products
• Work with Product Management to understand Momentive's current and future manufacturing capability on strategic healthcare products
• Work with healthcare marketing, sales and product management team to understand Momentive's strengths and weaknesses in certain healthcare subsegments.
• Create SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), analysis on key strategies and present to commercial team.
• Conduct technical application development work on key materials such as silicone Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) coating for skin (PSA adhesion testing and test method gauge R&R studies)

Requirements

• Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and TEAMS computer applications
• Good organization and presentation skills are required to communicate findings to healthcare team.
• Ability to work independently, under supervision and as part of a team.
• The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
• The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Chemical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering

Preferred

• Medical Device experience is preferred but not required.
