Responsibilities

• Own subscription performance across all SKUs, with a focus on increasing recurring revenue and customer lifetime value
• Turn first-time buyers into long-term subscribers through optimized offers, flows, and customer experience
• Increase subscription conversion rate across PDP, cart, checkout, and post-purchase flows
• Optimize Subscribe & Save offers, bundles, trials, cadence options, and incentives
• Launch and manage ongoing tests to improve opt-in rate, AOV, and average subscription tenure
• Reduce churn across cancellations, failed payments, skips, pauses, and passive churn
• Build and optimize save flows, winback campaigns, pause alternatives, and cancellation intercept strategies
• Improve retention across key cohorts (month 2, month 3, month 6, etc.)
• Analyze churn drivers and implement solutions quickly
• Partner with Email and SMS teams to build and optimize lifecycle flows including onboarding, replenishment, reorder, education, and loyalty
• Improve engagement through personalized and behavior-driven messaging
• Drive cross-sell and upsell strategies across the customer lifecycle
• Own weekly retention and subscription reporting, including: Active subscribers, New subscriber conversion rate, Churn rate and retention cohorts, Failed payment recovery, Average subscription duration, Subscription revenue as a % of total revenue
• LTV by cohort? Translate data into clear insights and actionable plans? Collaborate cross-functionally with Paid Media, CRO, Creative, CX, and Operations teams? Ensure acquisition strategies drive high-LTV subscribers (not just low CAC customers)?? Coordinate with operations and inventory planning to support recurring demand

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in subscription e-commerce, retention, or lifecycle marketing roles
• Proven experience growing recurring revenue and improving retention for DTC brands
• Deep understanding of subscription economics (LTV, churn, payback period, cohort analysis)
• Experience with Shopify and subscription platforms (Recharge, Skio, Stay AI, etc.)
• Experience with lifecycle tools such as Klaviyo, Postscript, Attentive, or similar
• Strong analytical mindset with a bias toward testing and iteration
• Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven

Preferred

• Experience in supplements or consumables
• Experience working in high-growth DTC environments
• Familiarity with CRO and on-site conversion optimization
