Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own competitive positioning strategy and execution for the IT segment, directing analysis, messaging, and content to give sellers the counter-arguments they need to win deals
  • Translate Competitive Intelligence's research into seller-ready assets — battlecards, objection handling, rapid-response content
  • Partner with sales leadership and Competitive Intelligence to run structured win/loss reviews that surface what's actually working against named competitors
  • Direct the flow of field intelligence back into systems that ensure competitive grounding stays current and actionable for AI tooling

Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience, with a track record in competitive intelligence, competitive marketing, or product marketing against named competitors
  • Natural empathy for, and understanding of, the pressure sellers are under in a live competitive deal
  • The ability to build sharp, defensible counter-positioning — sourced and substantiated, not aspirational
  • Creative messaging skills based on value and benefits, applied under time pressure
  • Passion about ServiceNow's products and the competitive fights that define the IT space
  • Experience running structured win/loss programs or comparable qualitative research with sales teams
  • The ability to summarize field signal into a content roadmap Competitive Intelligence and PSM can act on
  • FD21

Benefits

  • Health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs.
