Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build, execute, and scale cross-functional event content and programming globally across multiple time zones, setting strategy and long-term vision for event programming
  • Define program goals, timelines, and KPIs; communicate expectations with global stakeholders; and report program health to senior leadership regularly
  • Establish content framework and mechanisms for content catalog management
  • Create and run global speaker certification and development program
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand key messaging and product roadmaps, building successful content strategy for owned and third-party events across multiple verticals
  • Develop content planning tools (including GenAI), ensuring consistency across all events worldwide and recommendations for initiatives driving brand consistency and adoption globally
  • Identify resourcing plan balancing internal resources with agency support, maintaining customer obsession and frugality
  • Oversee event content end-to-end from concept to completion, serving as final reviewer for voice, grammar, and copy editing with relentlessly high standards
  • Serve as content and programming lead for Amazon Business flagship event (Reshape) with end-to-end ownership across general session program management, breakout content strategy, and editorial oversight
  • Define and document standards for event content, programming, and speaker management; develop playbooks for global teams

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership
  • 6+ years of Content Strategy, Programming Strategy, and/or Marketing Strategy experience

Preferred

  • Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
  • Experience of B2B marketing best practices
  • Knowledge of project management tools and software
  • Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
  • 1+ years of organizing events for content creators (e.g. education summits, booths at events) experience
