The Role:

We’re looking for a Sr. Creative Designer to join Chalkboard and shape and elevate our brand across product and marketing, ensuring every touchpoint is cohesive, compelling, and unmistakably Chalkboard. In this role you’ll work closely with Product, Marketing, Trading, and Executive Leadership, playing a meaningful part in how millions of fans experience sports in real time.

Your Game Plan:

Define and elevate Chalkboard’s creative standard by building a cohesive brand system and delivering high-impact work that connects product and marketing.

Level Up Our Game:

• Define and uphold the creative bar across Product, Marketing, and Social, establishing what great looks like for Chalkboard
• Own and evolve the brand identity system (visual language, typography, color, motion, tone of voice) across all touch points
• Lead creative for high-visibility campaigns, product launches, and brand moments from concept through delivery

Play Like a Captain:

• Set direction and influence brand strategy through a strong creative point of view
• Mentor and develop junior creatives through feedback, collaboration, and example-setting
• Create frameworks and guardrails that empower teams to execute high-quality work independently

Find a Way to Win:

• Collaborate with Marketing to drive growth through paid, organic, and partnership creative
• Partner with Trading to deliver timely, culturally relevant promotional assets
• Continuously improve workflows, tools, and processes to increase speed and quality

We Are Better Together:

• Partner closely with Product Design to ensure brand is deeply integrated into the product experience
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Leadership to align creative with business goals
• Stay ahead of cultural and industry trends, bringing fresh ideas that keep the brand relevant

What You Bring to the Team:

• Expert-level creative craft across brand design, visual identity, art direction, and marketing creative
• Strong ability to develop and articulate a clear creative point of view and make decisions under ambiguity
• Proven ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership
• Extensive experience executing brand and campaign work for consumer or digital products (sports, gaming, or entertainment preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to evolve a brand identity across both product and marketing contexts
• Track record of maintaining a high bar for creative quality in fast-paced environments
• Strong communication skills, including presenting work and building alignment
