Job Summary

Own the litigation media footprint with practice-leader collaboration, manage day-to-day media relations, and drive awards submissions and external-content creation for litigation, regulation, and enforcement beats.

  • Litigation PR Strategy & Publicity: shape plans with practice leaders and coordinate press for litigation-focused stories.
  • Media Relations & Content Ops: handle inquiries, write statements, monitor coverage, and draft external announcements.
  • Journalist Relationships & Awards: cultivate key press contacts and drive submissions for awards and recognitions.

Job Description

Responsibilities - Help direct the litigation media strategy for the Firm’s litigation practice groups and lawyers, working closely with practice group leaders to develop effective public relations plans. - Support day-to-day media relations relating to litigation, including responding to press inquiries, coordinating statements, and monitoring coverage. - Develop and maintain relationships with key business, legal, and trade journalists, particularly those covering litigation, regulation, and enforcement. - Assist with submissions for litigation-related awards and industry recognition. - Draft press releases and other external announcements and developing targeted media lists for distribution. - Draft wide-ranging content for the Firm’s external website and other communications vehicles. Requirements - 3-5+ years of experience in public relations (law or professional services firm background preferred) with a focus on litigation. - Exceptional written communication skills, including the ability to draft creative and compelling copy capable of achieving the necessary tone and voice for multiple audiences and publications. - Excellent organizational skills and very strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple, often time-sensitive, projects simultaneously and prioritize competing deadlines. - Highly collaborative, with the ability to form effective working relationships with individuals at all levels. - Exceptional judgment and discretion. - Strong press contacts. - Salary: $100k-$125k Nice_to_have - Benefits - compensation - Salary: $100k-$125k how_to_apply - about_company - Wisnik Career Enterprises, Inc., is committed to helping you achieve your goals.
