Social Media/Marketing Intern

Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Social Media: Help create and post content for Instagram and Facebook.
• Create Instagram Reels, Stories, posts, and short-form videos.
• Assist with YouTube Shorts and other video content when appropriate.
• Turn longer videos into shorter social media clips.
• Write simple, engaging captions and calls to action.
• Help maintain a consistent posting schedule.
• Look for current social media trends that could be adapted for real estate.
• Help create content that is educational, entertaining, local, and occasionally humorous.
• Agent & Team Promotion: Feature individual agents and their personalities.
• Create “behind the scenes” content showing what our team actually does.

Requirements

• Is currently enrolled in college, preferably studying marketing, communications, business, media, graphic design, or a related field.
• Uses Instagram and Facebook regularly and understands how Reels and Stories work.
• Is comfortable taking photos and videos with a smartphone.
• Has basic video editing skills or is willing to learn.
• Has experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar programs.
• Has a good eye for what looks professional on social media.
• Can write clearly and conversationally.
• Is dependable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Is comfortable interacting with real estate agents, clients, and members of the community.
• Is willing to suggest new ideas instead of waiting to be told exactly what to post.
