Drive on-site video/content production and social storytelling for youth baseball at Great Lakes Baseball Academy.

  • Own or assist with on-site video capture and content creation at practices, games, and tournaments.
  • Must-have: 1-2 years of social media management or content creation experience.
  • Standout: Photography and videography experience, plus familiarity with baseball or youth sports.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the team to create a plan for social media strategies
  • Aid in the capturing and creation of video projects of our teams and athletes at games and during training sessions
  • Produce social media-style bits for our social platforms
  • Attend practices, workouts and games to capture content (some travel may be required)
  • Travel with teams to weekend tournaments, capturing content on-site and covering the tournament on social media
  • Post to social media accounts while maintaining brand voice and style
  • Produce excellent and entertaining live content to Instagram stories

Preferred

  • 1-2 years of social media management or content creation experience â—‹ Big plus if experienced in photography and videography
  • Familiarity working in sports and/or youth sports (specifically baseball)
  • Comfortable with working with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • General knowledge of Twitter/X and Instagram
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work ~4 days per week with a varied schedule including evenings and weekends (Mostly Weekends)
