Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Creative Direction
  • Build monthly social media strategies aligned to client goals (awareness, leads, traffic)
  • Client Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
  • Run client check-ins (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly depending on account)
  • Manage approvals, feedback, and expectations with professionalism and clarity
  • Identify upsell opportunities and additional needs (as appropriate)
  • Reporting & Performance
  • Deliver monthly performance reports with insights (what worked, what didn’t, what we’re changing)
  • Track KPIs and turn data into clear next steps and recommendations
  • Monitor competitor activity and share strategic takeaways
  • Collaboration & Workflow
  • Work closely with our execution team (social media manager/coordinator, designer, video support)
  • Maintain organized systems for briefs, approvals, deadlines, and asset handoff
  • Communicate priorities early to avoid last-minute rushes
  • Develop campaign concepts, content pillars, and creative themes
  • Create content calendars and detailed briefs for the execution team (hooks, angles, captions direction, shot lists where needed)
  • Ensure brand voice consistency and platform-appropriate content direction (IG/TikTok/Facebook/LinkedIn as needed)
  • Review content before publishing to maintain quality and alignment

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years in social media strategy and/or client-facing account management (agency experience preferred)

Preferred

  • Meta Business Suite
  • Basic familiarity with Canva/creative tools (for feedback/review, not heavy design work)
  • Strong understanding of major social platforms and content best practices
  • Excellent communication skills (client-facing, written, and verbal)
  • Strong creative judgment and ability to generate content ideas that align with business goals
  • Comfortable with reporting, insights, and presenting recommendations
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
