Job Summary

Own fast-turn, mobile-first sports content production across events, media days, and live shoots, delivering engaging short-form video while coordinating with on-site crews and remote editors to publish quickly.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Team Embedding: Embed with designated sports teams and athletes during event weeks to serve as their primary, real-time creative shadow.
  • Mobile Content Capture: Capture elite, high-quality, social-first footage using an iPhone (behind-the-scenes, practices, raw reactions, locker room access).
  • Media Day Production: Direct and capture engaging, personality-driven short-form vertical video content during official athlete media days.
  • Social-First Execution: Direct, frame, and film with an intrinsic understanding of short-form vertical platforms, optimizing capture for hooks, pacing, and trending structures.
  • Collaborative Workflow: Coordinate closely with on-site videographers, agency editors, and remote publishing teams to turn around raw assets quickly.
  • Live Pace Maintenance: Maintain elite work ethic and attention to detail during intensive 8-hour daily production cycles from Tuesday through Sunday.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience capturing short-form vertical video and digital content, ideally in sports, music, or live entertainment settings.
  • Technical Mobile Mastery: Expert capability in operating iPhone camera settings, mobile stabilizers, microphones, and on-the-fly lighting setups.
  • Native understanding of storytelling formats, hooks, visual pacing, and formatting rules across TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Highly professional demeanor with experience interacting comfortably with professional athletes, coaches, and sports executives.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and highly resourceful under the high-pressure conditions of live sports production.
  • Fully available to travel and clear schedules for all 5 mandatory event date blocks.

Preferred

  • High-speed mobile video editing proficiency (CapCut, VN, or Adobe Premiere Rush).
  • Conversational or professional proficiency in Spanish.
