Social Media and Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

• Represent the agency at trade shows, chamber of commerce events and networking mixers
• Build relationships with local businesses and referral partners
• Generate leads and turn new connections into opportunities
• Plan and host our own events, both team events and community events
• Create content and run our social media, on camera and behind it
• Help with recruiting, interviewing and hiring as we expand
• Lead our culture by celebrating wins, welcoming new hires and setting the tone every day
• Support day-to-day office and admin projects

Requirements

• Electric energy. You’ll talk to anyone, and you love it.
• You live on social media, know the trends, and know what makes content hit.
• You’re fluent in tech and pick up new apps on your own, no hand-holding needed.
• You’re a self-starter who sees what needs doing and does it.
• You’re unflappable. Rude people roll right off you, and you stay friendly and keep going.
• You follow through, every time.
• You’re comfortable on camera and with strangers.

Preferred

• Bonus points if you’ve worked in: Restaurants, bartending, hospitality, events, promotions or nightlife. You already know how to read a room and work a crowd, and we’ll teach you the rest.
