Social Media Manager & Video Content Creator

Responsibilities

• Develop ideas and manage the content calendar.
• Turn existing photos and footage into engaging carousels, Stories, Reels and other visual posts.
• Write specific, human captions.
• Stay informed about Vail Valley weather, events and happenings, choosing when local context adds value.
• Manage Instagram and Facebook publishing, adapt posts for LinkedIn, and publish Reels to YouTube Shorts.
• Monitor comments and messages, route inquiries and use performance insights to improve future content.
• Plan and conduct one or two agreed filming/photo visits per month.
• Capture project details, progress, team conversations and relevant local moments.
• Coordinate shot needs with the content calendar.
• Deliver organized assets, with editing responsibilities agreed in advance.

Requirements

• Strong visual judgment, confident writing, initiative and reliable execution.
• Experience with architecture, construction, interiors, homebuilding, hospitality or destination brands is a plus.
• Local knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Applicants offering capture must be able to visit projects in the Vail Valley.
• Management-only applicants may work remotely if they can demonstrate strong local research and understanding.
• We’re looking for independent professionals who personally perform the work within their proposed scope.
