Job Description

Drive a social media program for a 3‑month, part‑time role focused on school safety software brand building.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Regularly develop and post content to all social platforms.
  • Use Canva to create thoughtful and shareable content appropriate for specific networks to both spread our brand and our content and links.
  • Pull and edit clips from webinar recordings to repurpose into video content.
  • Ensure a thought leadership approach is taken when creating copy that represents our brand and builds engagement through meaningful conversations.
  • Review community engagement activity and respond professionally when appropriate.
  • Work alongside other marketers and content producers to share awareness of upcoming events and funding deadlines.
  • Explore new ways to engage and new social networks to reach our target buyers, including building our user groups.
  • This is a 3 month temporary, part time position (20 hours/week) starting in June.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.

Preferred

  • Bonus experience and skills include Adobe Creative Suite, demand generation. marketing, inbound marketing, and blogging.
