Responsibilities

• This is a hybrid internship role for a Social Media Manager, located in Chicago, IL, with the flexibility to perform some tasks remotely.
• The Social Media Manager will oversee the organization's social media channels to enhance engagement and amplify awareness.
• Responsibilities include developing and implementing content strategies, managing social media calendars, creating and posting content, optimizing social media profiles, and monitoring analytics to assess engagement metrics and performance.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) techniques
• Strong skills in Communication and Writing to create clear and engaging posts and messages
• Experience in crafting and executing effective Content Strategies for digital platforms
• Familiarity with analytics and tools to measure and improve performance
• Passion for empowering girls and supporting nonprofit missions
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to hybrid work environments
• Prior experience in social media management or marketing is a plus
