Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct consistent research, benchmarking, and audience analysis to evolve a comprehensive, cross-platform social strategy that increases discovery, engagement, and conversion.
  • Identify emerging trends, new platforms, and content formats; proactively recommend creative ideas for integration across marketing (paid media, email, PR, partnerships, on campus experiences and campaigns).
  • Regularly test and experiment with new approaches, evaluating results and optimizing strategy accordingly.
  • Assess what is and isn’t working; identify solutions, pivot thoughtfully, and balance patience with performance expectations.
  • Manage and grow existing social platforms while maintaining awareness of those channels’ evolution as well as emerging channels and opportunities for expansion.
  • Collaborate with campus teams, operations, experience, and registration departments to identify marketing opportunities and ways social media can enhance the visitor journey and on-campus experience.
  • Surface opportunities to promote not only programs, but also campus life, membership, partnerships, seasonal initiatives, and broader organizational priorities.
  • Support the development and management of strategic collaborations with aligned businesses, organizations, influencers, and community partners to expand Omega’s audience and credibility.
  • Plan, compose, and manage day-to-day social media content aligned with Omega’s communications calendar.
  • Concept, film, edit, and publish engaging short-form video and visual content; demonstrate a strong creative eye and enthusiasm for editing and storytelling. Work alongside the digital team to collaborate on supplemental video and content production.
  • Capture live campus moments, events, and behind-the-scenes content that bring Omega’s community to life.
  • Develop creative briefs and collaborate across marketing disciplines to ensure cohesive storytelling across platforms.
  • Bring forward fresh, creative marketing ideas beyond traditional program promotion.
  • Actively build and manage online relationships — engaging with influencers, faculty, partners, and aligned organizations.
  • Proactively comment on, share, and engage with relevant external content to increase visibility and reciprocal engagement.
  • Moderate public comments and messages; escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Serve as a welcoming representative of Omega’s social presence — comfortable interviewing faculty, asking thoughtful questions, meeting and greeting influencers, and capturing authentic moments.
  • Support integrated campaigns that extend from digital engagement to on-campus and in-person experiences, creating a cohesive audience journey.
  • Track, analyze, and report on platform performance using Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and UTM tracking.
  • Translate performance data into clear insights and strategic recommendations; track ROI and measurable growth in audience size, engagement, and campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Proven track record driving audience growth and engagement across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to research trends and translate insights into creative, cross-channel marketing initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing, PR, paid media, and operational teams.
  • Experience building partnerships or collaborating with external groups, businesses, or influencers.
  • Strong community management skills, including proactive outreach and relationship nurturing.
  • Comfortable interviewing, asking questions, hosting conversations, and representing an organization publicly.
  • Passion for content creation – especially video editing and storytelling.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic adjustments.
  • Solution-oriented thinker who adapts when strategies need refinement.
  • Willingness to test, experiment, and innovate.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
