Responsibilities

• Manage day to day social execution across key platforms
• Bring the company’s brand voice and social strategy to life through daily content
• Develop original posts, recurring formats and reactive social ideas
• Own publishing, scheduling and platform management
• Identify trends, conversations, memes and cultural moments worth acting on
• Write sharp social copy that feels native to each platform
• Work closely with creative partners to develop visual and video content
• Engage with the community and identify opportunities to join relevant conversations
• Track performance and use what is working to inform future content
• Help build an efficient process for moving quickly from idea to execution

Requirements

• Proven experience managing social for a technology company, creator led company, media business or internet native brand
• A strong understanding of social platforms, internet culture, creators and online communities
• Excellent writing skills and a strong sense of brand voice
• Strong creative instincts and the ability to identify ideas with real social potential
• Experience creating and publishing content across multiple platforms
• Comfortable reacting quickly to trends, news and cultural moments
• Highly organized and able to manage a consistent content cadence
• Comfortable working in a fast moving environment with a high level of ownership
• Someone who genuinely spends time online and understands how people communicate there
