Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
  • Assist in developing social media campaigns to promote programs, events, and community initiatives
  • Engage with followers and help foster a positive online community
  • Research social media trends and recommend creative content ideas
  • Collaborate with team members to develop content strategies and messaging
  • Track engagement metrics and help evaluate the effectiveness of social media efforts
  • Support the organization’s branding and outreach goals

Requirements

  • Current high school or college student, or recent graduate
  • Interest in social media, marketing, communications, public health, nonprofit leadership, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and current trends
  • Creative, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience creating content for personal, school, club, or community social media accounts is a plus, but not required
  • Basic knowledge of Canva, graphic design, or analytics tools is helpful but not required
