Responsibilities

  • The Social Media Manager & Designer is a key member of the LUP of Love team and serves as the heartbeat of our digital presence. This role blends storytelling, creativity, community engagement, and design to bring our mission to life; shifting misconceptions about lupus, empowering individuals living with the disease, and cultivating a loving, supportive space online. This person will shape our narrative, elevate our brand, and ensure every post radiates wellness, love, and awareness.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, community engagement, or a related creative field (nonprofit experience is a plus).
  • Demonstrated experience designing graphics, creating short-form video content, and producing branded visuals for social media.
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms, current trends, and analytics.
  • Experience developing content calendars, scheduling posts, and executing campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting and caption-writing skills with the ability to convey heart-centered messaging.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
  • Comfortable engaging with online communities and responding thoughtfully to individuals navigating health challenges.
