Social Media Production Manager, Meyer Lucas Companies

The role responsible for elevating content creation across Hype Boss client accounts and The Meyer Lucas Companies accounts, ensuring all output reflects strong storytelling, clear brand alignment and a consistently high creative standard.

Creative Director

Podcast Studio Manager and Editing Team

Manager(s) of Digital Marketing

Direct Reports:

  • None (may coordinate with shooters or editors, but does not manage them formally)

Cross-Functional Support and Resources:

  • Creative Director (direction, approvals, feedback)
  • Brand Strategist (for access to Brand Blueprint & positioning)
  • Shooters / Videographers (on-site support, where applicable)
  • Editors & Designers
  • Client’s internal team (for access, logistics, and sometimes footage)
  • Operations & Systems team for tools (Brilly,, drive folders, etc.)

Location:

Hybrid/must be local (within 30-40 minutes) to Jupiter, FL 

Role Overview

Hype Boss is hiring a Social Media Production Manager to create bold, high-performing, platform-native short-form content for podcasts, founders, brands, and community campaigns.

This is not a basic editing role. We are looking for someone who understands internet culture, pacing, storytelling, hooks, trends, sound design, and social-first editing.

You should know the difference between average content and content that actually performs.

Responsibilities

  • Edit high-performing short-form video clips for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
  • Pull compelling moments from podcasts, interviews, events, and community content
  • Add captions, pacing, transitions, motion graphics, sound design, and storytelling elements
  • Create platform-native edits optimized for engagement
  • Organize and manage media assets and content delivery workflows
  • Collaborate with creative and strategy teams on campaigns and launches
  • Stay ahead of trends, editing styles, platform behavior, and audience attention patterns
  • Assist with on-site content capture for activations and events when needed
  • Help execute content calendars and social campaigns

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong instincts for storytelling and internet culture
  • Advanced CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar editing skills
  • Understands pacing, hooks, retention, and social-first editing
  • Can create edgy, bold, modern content, not generic “corporate” edits
  • Comfortable working quickly under deadlines
  • Understands how to create clips that actually perform
  • Highly collaborative and creatively confident
  • Experience with podcasts, founder brands, or creator content
  • Able to shoot content in addition to editing
  • Familiarity with AI editing tools while still maintaining human creative judgment
  • Strong meme/trend awareness and Gen Z + millennial internet fluency the role
