Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow DJ’s Sportscards’ social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Whatnot, Website)
- Create and publish engaging content, including New Arrivals posts, reels, stories, and short-form videos
- Promote and sell new inventory, drops, events, and promotions
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and community interactions in a professional and friendly manner
- Stay up to date on sports card trends, athlete news, and hobby culture
- Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth) and adjust strategy accordingly
- Assist with shop announcements, events and real-time social coverage when needed
- Maintain brand voice, consistency, and professionalism across all platforms
Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or business
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and trends
- Experience with content creation (photo, video, reels, short-form clips)
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to effectively lead and manage a small team
Preferred
- Passion for and comprehension of sports cards, sports culture, or collectibles (strongly preferred)
- Experience in the sports card or collectibles industry
- Knowledge of the Pokemon community and cards
