Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Shoot, edit, and publish 12–16+ pieces of short-form video content per month (iPhone-first)
  • Draft copy for all posts — captions, hashtags, audio selection
  • Build and maintain a posting calendar with strategic event mapping
  • Track KPIs (engagement, views, saves, shares, follower growth) and report monthly
  • Shadow Esther at restaurants, events, TV shoots, and everyday moments to capture real-time content
  • Manage DMs, comments, and inbound brand partnership inquiries

Requirements

  • 2+ years creating social media content for a food creator, celebrity chef, or food/lifestyle brand
  • Strong iPhone video + photo skills (you own an iPhone 15 Pro or later)
  • Proven ability to create content that performs — we want to see the work, not the resume
  • Deep familiarity with Korean American food culture
  • Based in New York City with a flexible schedule (events happen on weekends and evenings)
  • Proactive, self-starting, and comfortable in fast-paced environments
  • Experience with content scheduling tools (Later, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, or similar)
  • Travel flexibility for events, shoots, and appearances

Preferred

  • Executive assistant or operations background
  • Existing network of food and lifestyle creators
  • Korean language proficiency
  • Photography and food styling experience
