Responsibilities

• Develop captivating social media posts, graphics, and videos that reflect our museum's branding and mission
• Produce, shoot and edit short-formed content that showcases our exhibitions and events
• Assist in managing and scheduling posts on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, utilizing social media management tools to track performance metrics and analyze engagement trends
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages professionally
• Participate in brainstorming sessions aimed at generating innovative digital campaigns
• Collaborate closely with the museum staff and the Advancement team to promote events and maintain an organized social media calendar for timely content delivery

Requirements

• Strong foundation in communications, marketing, or digital media, ideally through an undergraduate or graduate program
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or a recent graduate preferably in communications, marketing, digital media, or a related field
• Familiarity with social media platforms including X, Facebook, TikTok, and Meta Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
• A proactive creative and self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Basic proficiency in graphic design or content creation tools, such as Canva or Adobe Spark
