Job Summary

Own the Gen Z social voice by sourcing trends, crafting short form video and Canva carousels, and managing community engagement with precise timing on Sprout Social.

  • Content & Trend Discovery: turn raw notes from scanning TikTok and Reels into the first wave of post ideas and formats.
  • Brand Voice & Engagement: be the brand’s spokesperson in comments and DMs, preserving the vibe in every interaction.
  • Production & Scheduling: film, edit, design, and calendar posts to hit peak engagement times and maintain a steady flow.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Research & Strategy: Trend Sourcing: Scrolling TikTok and Reels to identify emerging audios, memes, and "core" aesthetics before they peak.
  • Competitor Audits: Keeping an eye on what other brands are doing (and doing it better).
  • Generational Knowledge: Being our resident expert on Gen Z/Gen Alpha slang, humor, and platform etiquette.
  • Content Creation: Short-Form Video: Filming and editing "unfiltered" Lo-Fi content, "Day in the Life" clips, and behind-the-scenes (BTS) footage.
  • Graphic Design: Creating high-engagement, aesthetic carousels in Canva .
  • Caption Writing: Drafting "human-sounding" copy that actually passes the vibe check (no corporate-speak allowed).
  • Ops & Scheduling: Social Content Calendar: Mapping out the month’s posts so we always have a consistent flow.
  • Scheduling: Mastering Sprout Social to hit those peak engagement times.
  • Engagement: Community Management: Being the voice of the brand! You’ll respond to comments and DMs with our specific "voice" via Sprout Social .

Requirements

  • You’re currently enrolled in a U.S.-based college or graduate program or are a recent graduate
  • You’re looking for an hourly internship where you’ll gain hands-on experience (and yes—this is a paid opportunity)

  • Credit isn’t guaranteed—it depends on your school + program fit
  • You’re based in the U.S. and are legally authorized to work here at the time of hire and throughout the internship

Preferred

  • Platform Pro: knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Eye for Design: comfortable whipping things up in Canva
