Job Summary

Drive BBB social media value by supporting campaign strategy, engagement, and reporting as a student intern.

  • Standout: Brand ambassador role at BBB events and cross-department collaboration.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Help to build a strategy for specific social media campaigns (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  • Monitor and engage with followers and prospective followers on social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on social media engagement and analytics.
  • Support BBB team by sharing and promoting important information across all internal departments.
  • Collect weekly content and distribute The Wrap Up, our internal weekly email newsletter
  • Serve as a brand ambassador at various BBB events, including Member Connect, Accredited Business Happy Hour, Team Meetings and more!

Requirements

  • Current college sophomore or junior pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
  • A devoted user and consumer of social media. Experience using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Ability to take initiative and be an accountable and dependable teammate.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Eager to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills and are highly detail oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adjust workload accordingly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with demonstrated capability in Word, Excel and Outlook. Adobe and Canva knowledge is a plus!
  • Knowledge of social media scheduling platforms is a plus but not required.
