Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Gain an understanding of social media & marketing strategies, including a social media marketing plan.
  • Create and refine brand image and architecture through exposure to business decision-making processes, leveraging analytics and strategic risk-taking.
  • Create multi-media content (photos, videos, and graphics) to post to the CIA’s social media and track analytics.
  • Observe and participate in community engagement, including responding to social media comments and messages with guidance.
  • Update restaurant menus on the CIA’s website. Learn, create and execute marketing campaigns, paid media campaigns, utilizing analytics and loyalty marketing.
  • Learn how to build, set, and utilize an editorial calendar.
  • Develop photography and video imaging skills.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education:
  • Current CIA student, pre-Extern.
  • Experience:
  • Previous Social Media experience.
  • Required Skills:
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and strong presentation skills required.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to be adaptable, dependable and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong administrative abilities.
  • Strong computer experience in MS Office suite products, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Preferred

  • Passion for social media.
  • Experience with Earn & Learn and personal social media channels.
