Responsibilities

• Visit our Hesperia facility to take photos and videos of activities for approved social media content
• Create and post engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
• Create reels, stories, graphics, flyers, and promotional posts
• Maintain a consistent and professional social media presence
• Research and find vendor events, resource fairs, community fairs, networking events, and outreach opportunities
• Contact event organizers and assist with vendor registration when needed
• Attend selected events and represent Better Together Recreation
• Assist with event setup, promotional materials, and community outreach
• Engage with followers and help grow social media awareness
• Track basic engagement and identify content that performs well

Requirements

• Experience with social media and content creation
• Comfortable taking photos and videos with a smartphone
• Creative, organized, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Comfortable attending events and speaking with families and community organizations
• Reliable transportation for local events and facility visits

Preferred

• Experience with Canva, Adobe, CapCut, or similar editing tools is preferred
• Event planning, marketing, outreach, or social media experience is a plus
