Job Summary

Produce and edit short-form genomics explainers; create two 3–5 minute videos per week with captions and simple animations.

  • Own end-to-end video production from concept through editing and captions.
  • Must-have: Proficiency in Graphics/Graphic Design, including Adobe Creative Suite.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • produce two videos per week, posted on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • create and editing videos, adding captions and simple animations
  • collaborating with our team on topics and messaging
  • Each video (approximately 3–5 minutes) should break down a specific gene in a way that is scientifically accurate, easy to understand, and visually engaging.

Requirements

  • - Proficiency in Graphics and Graphic Design
  • - Experience in Logo Design and Branding
  • - Strong understanding of Typography and its application in design
  • - Familiarity with social media trends and visual storytelling
  • - Ability to meet deadlines in a remote work environment
  • - Fluency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent

Preferred

  • Ideal candidates have experience producing educational or health-related content, strong video editing skills across platforms like LinkedIn, Reels, or TikTok, and the ability to simplify complex scientific concepts.
