Job Summary

Own and execute the social content engine for a sports marketing practice, turning trends, memes, and athlete storytelling into timely briefs, briefs, and publish-ready content across major platforms while tracking performance and supporting live event coverage.

  • Identify real-time trends and cultural moments to drive content ideas and rapid reactions.
  • Create clear briefs for videographers, editors, and designers and manage publishing across IG, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, X, Threads, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor platform metrics and feed learnings back into calendars and creative decisions to optimize reach and engagement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content ideation informed by trends, athletes, and storytelling
  • Trend identification and surfacing relevant memes/cultural moments in real time
  • Creating content briefs for videographers, editors, and designers
  • Managing content calendars across IG, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, X, Threads, and Linkedin
  • Writing captions and publishing natively to platforms
  • Tracking social performance and platform metrics
  • Supporting community management across team channels
  • Supporting live event coverage during league events

Requirements

  • In-tune with social trends and culture before they hit
  • Fast to react to memes, trending sounds, and cultural moments
  • Prior social media internship or brand/organization experience
  • Fluent across IG, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, X/Twitter
  • Excellent written + verbal communication skills
  • Pursuing a degree (or recent graduate) in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications or related fields
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks
  • Must be available 10-20 hours per week
  • Must be available to support event weekends remotely during league events

Preferred

  • Spanish speaking (professional or conversational proficiency)
  • Video editing experience (CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.)
  • Graphic design experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar tools)
