Job Summary

You will own and publish content across social platforms, develop graphics and short-form videos, and coordinate with directors and fellows to highlight ongoing projects, while tracking analytics and staying ahead of youth policy conversations.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and publish content across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Create graphics and short-form videos for program updates, director introductions, events, and Verity Voices Journal content.
  • Develop and maintain a regular social media posting schedule.
  • Track social media analytics to identify what performs well and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with program directors, fellows, and contributors to highlight their work and ongoing projects.
  • Monitor youth issues, global affairs, and public policy conversations to identify timely content ideas.
  • Support additional communications projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at an accredited college or university in the United States.
  • Prior experience managing social media accounts or creating digital content.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt messaging for different social media platforms and audiences.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar design platforms.
  • Experience creating or editing short-form video content.
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly.

  • Interest in public policy, global affairs, education, youth development, nonprofit work, or social impact is preferred.
