Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Augex's social media strategy across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, Reddit, and emerging platforms.
• Own the content calendar to ensure a consistent publishing schedule.
• Create engaging written, visual, and short-form video content.
• Write compelling copy aligned with the Augex brand voice.
• Produce, edit, and publish short-form videos using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Descript.
• Support executive thought leadership by creating content for company leadership.
• Build and engage online communities through comments, direct messages, and discussions.
• Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and competitor activity.
• Track performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations for growth.
• Define and own KPIs for channel growth, engagement, and conversion; report regularly to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of professional social media marketing experience
• Proven experience building and scaling social media programs from the ground up, ideally at a technology company, startup, SaaS organization, or agency
• Demonstrated success growing and owning social media channels end-to-end, with measurable results
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, Reddit, and emerging social platforms
• Experience creating and editing short-form video content
• Experience using social media analytics tools to measure performance and optimize campaigns
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Descript, or similar platforms
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Supporting founders, executives, or thought leadership brands
• Marketing to technical audiences, startups, or entrepreneurs
• Building creator communities or marketplace platforms
