Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Research & Editorial: Source and verify daily real estate updates spanning financing, development, capital markets, and brokerage activity. Monitor breaking news across key U.S. cities, identify emerging market trends, and develop storylines before they go mainstream. Write and edit short-form news summaries, captions, and headlines calibrated for social and digital audiences. Collaborate with design and content teams to pair stories with strong visuals and data graphics.
  • Coverage areas include major groundbreakings and project completions, developer and investor features, brokerage data breakdowns (CBRE, JLL, and Colliers), property trades, zoning changes, and financing deals, all distilled into Traded’s signature Traded Takeaways format.
  • Publish accurate, on-brand content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and X at the pace the market demands. Uphold Traded’s editorial standards for accuracy, tone, and style across every post, caption, and story.
  • Track content performance metrics and use data to sharpen publishing strategy. Build relationships with brokers, developers, and capital markets professionals to source proprietary stories. Contribute to newsletters, special reports, and event coverage as needed.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in real estate media, journalism, social media, or a real estate research-intensive content role.
  • Strong writing and editing instincts with a low tolerance for inaccuracy.
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate, capital markets, and development news cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stories and deadlines simultaneously in a high-velocity environment.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Google Sheets, and AI-assisted content tools.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating with urgency as the default.
  • Based in Miami, Florida.

Benefits

  • Direct access to top brokers, developers, and investors across the country.
  • A collaborative, creatively driven team focused on content excellence.
  • The opportunity to help shape the editorial voice of the leading real estate media brand in North America.
