Job Summary

Own the on-site styling and content flow for luxury staging and lifestyle clips, turning installs and behind-the-scenes into elevated social visuals.

  • On-site styling and content capture: stage spaces, shoots, and behind-the-scenes for premium visuals.
  • Content planning and video: plan weekly Instagram content and edit elevated short-form video.
  • Brand voice and workflow: write captions, translate trends into premium content, assist videographer, and keep episodes organized.

Responsibilities

  • Style and refine spaces on-site at staging installs, luxury homes, and short-term rentals.
  • Capture content as it happens capturing installs, behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, before-and-afters.
  • Develop a steady stream of on-brand visuals with a strong design point of view.
  • Plan weekly content across platforms, primarily Instagram.
  • Edit short-form video (stories, reels, clips, promos) that feels elevated, not generic.
  • Write captions in our brand voice and schedule/post consistently.
  • Translate trends into content that still looks high-end and intentional.
  • Assist our videographer with monthly batched recordings, setup, capture, and content flow.
  • Cut social teasers, trailers, and clips from each episode.
  • Help keep episodes organized and on schedule.

Requirements

  • You're NYC-area based and can travel to The Hudson Valley 1–2 times per month.
  • Familiarity with Descript, CapCut, Canva, Edits, InStories; Wave.io familiarity is a huge plus; willingness to learn.

Preferred

  • Bonus points for: a background in design, styling, real estate, or hospitality; experience shooting interiors or lifestyle content; any podcast or audio-editing exposure.

With its own in-house production company, CHDR offers brokers (included in its staging packages) the option of hosted property tours, broadcast quality virtual property tours in addition to interactive virtual 360 tours, all professionally shot and edited and provided to brokers for their own self-promotion and usage. Founded in 2004 by New York City based news anchor/ reporter turned interior designer Cathy Hobbs, CHDR is one of the premiere staging companies serving the Tri-State Area. CHDR maintains an expansive warehouse, which includes a curated collection of furniture, artwork, chandeliers, accessories and drapery. In order to meet the needs of its expanding business, the company is currently implementing the ground up construction of a state-of-the art building/warehouse, which will serve as the first Passive Warehouse in North America.
