Job Summary

Build and curate social-first content from concept to post, coordinating shoots, editing, and on-trend creative across beauty brands while partnering with cross-functional teams and clients to translate brand objectives into engaging visuals.

Content Production: Plan and shoot TikTok- and Instagram-first assets, including talking-to-camera, product, lifestyle, and BTS content.
Post Production & Asset Management: Edit videos/images, add overlays/captions, source stock/music, and maintain client asset libraries.
Collaboration & Strategy: Contribute to creative concepts, shot lists, playbooks, and client communications to reflect brand objectives and current social trends.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Working with the Head of Social to create engaging image and video content, utilizing approved creative direction
Supporting on creative concept development
Shooting original TikTok-first and Instagram-first content - inclusive of image and video assets
Shooting talking-to-the-camera, face-to-camera, and voiceover content
Shooting product and lifestyle content
Shooting BTS content at photoshoots and events - inclusive of image and video assets
Editing videos and images to create final social-first posts
Adding copy overlays and closed captions as needed
Staying up-to-date on social media trends and maintaining a sharp awareness of current and emerging trends in the social media landscape for effective content creation
Sourcing inspiration and stock assets for clients

Requirements

Knowledge across all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.)
Expertise in creating and shooting elevated social-first content (image and video)
Expertise in image and video editing
A passion for producing social-first content
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly moving environment
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize and produce creative concepts that reflect each brand’s objectives
A strong eye for visual composition
Knowledge in beauty, wellness, and lifestyle categories

Preferred

Proficiency in Adobe Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffects, and Premiere Pro - along with social editing tools like CapCut
Working knowledge of Google Suite
Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp a plus
Experience with social media planning tools such as Dash Social and Planoly a plus
Experience with Slack a plus
Experience with Figma and Canva a plus
