Drive game-day content for a USHL hockey program, owning social media, live video, and post-game assets.

  • Own and execute home game social content and live posting during games.
  • Must-have: Prior sports social media experience and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Standout: Hands-on game footage capture and real-time highlight logging and editing.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage home game-day social media content
  • Shoot photo / video content throughout each game
  • Live video editing and posting during games
  • Update game template graphics
  • Own logging of highlights during the game for later use.
  • Develop unique content ideas
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A degree or currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Energetic, reliable, and able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as required by the hockey and event schedule.
  • Previous experience working in sports social media.
  • Proficient in Adobe Create Cloud (Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, live-game environment and walking on an ice sheet.
  • Ability to work on their feet for extended periods of times and able to lift 10-15 lbs.
