Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the publishing calendar across YouTube, Spotify, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, newsletters, podcast feeds, and other distribution channels.
  • Collect and organize the assets required for each release, including videos, thumbnails, captions, titles, descriptions, links, metadata, and approvals.
  • Coordinate with brands, agencies, platforms, and external partners when additional assets or information are required.
  • Schedule and publish content accurately, ensuring that all platform-specific formatting, links, thumbnails, metadata, and other details are correct.
  • Coordinate deadlines and dependencies across editors, designers, creative leads, and external partners.
  • Identify missing inputs, unclear ownership, and potential delays before they become problems.
  • Maintain project-management systems so that priorities, owners, deadlines, and status are always current and visible.
  • Compile weekly performance reports for the Creative Director.
  • Track key platform metrics and flag unusual results, emerging patterns, opportunities, and operational issues.
  • Help document and automate recurring workflows so the operation becomes more efficient over time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field. A relentlessly curious mind is essential.
  • You have zero to three years of relevant experience, including internships, campus organizations, freelance work, or managing accounts for a brand, publication, podcast, or creator.
  • You understand how people discover and engage with content across different social platforms.
  • You are unusually organized and detail-oriented.
  • You take pride in your work and enjoy catching errors that others miss.
  • You can manage several parallel workstreams, priorities, and deadlines without losing track of details.
  • You are comfortable learning new tools and improving existing processes.
  • You can work with spreadsheets and interpret metrics such as views, reach, engagement, retention, follower growth, and click-through rates.
  • You communicate clearly, write exceptionally, follow through reliably, and raise problems early rather than waiting to be asked.
  • You are curious, resourceful, and willing to figure things out independently.

Preferred

  • Experience with YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, Spotify for Creators, or similar publishing tools.
  • Experience with Notion, Asana, Airtable, Monday.com, or another project-management system.
  • Familiarity with creator-led media, podcasts, newsletters, or digital publishing.
  • Basic Canva, image-resizing, or lightweight design skills for occasional operational fixes.
  • Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other emerging platforms.
  • Interest in automation and improving repetitive workflows.
