Job Description

Full-Time Short Form Video Editor — Fitness Coaching BrandAbout the Role

We are looking for a proven Short Form Video Editor to work directly with one of our Fitness Coaching Clients and help create engaging, high-performing social media content.

This role is focused only on editing videos for the Fitness Coach and their brand. You will not be switching between multiple clients or accounts.

You will work directly with the Fitness Coach, report directly to them, and receive feedback, content direction, and priorities from them.

You will edit multiple short form videos per week and work as a full-time employee. We are extremely structured and organized, and we only work with editors who take communication, deadlines, file management, and organization seriously.

This is not a part-time or freelance role. We are looking for someone who wants a consistent, long-term, full-time position.

We are only looking for applicants outside the United States who are comfortable working at $5/hour for approximately 40 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Working On
  • Edit short form videos for the Fitness Coach’s social media accounts
  • Work directly with and report directly to the Fitness Coach
  • Take raw footage from workouts, talking-head videos, client coaching sessions, podcasts, educational videos, lifestyle content, and other content days
  • Cut down long videos into short form clips for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels
  • Remove dead space, pauses, mistakes, filler words, and anything that slows the video down
  • Create strong openings that make the video feel fast, clear, and attention-grabbing within the first few seconds
  • Add captions that are clean, easy to read, and matched to the Fitness Coach’s brand style
  • Add simple motion graphics, zooms, cuts, b-roll, screenshots, headlines, and visual callouts where needed
  • Make videos feel polished and professional without making them over-edited or cheesy
  • Turn fitness and coaching topics into clean, fast-paced videos that are easy for viewers to understand
  • Edit content around topics such as:
  • Fat loss
  • Muscle building
  • Workouts and exercise technique
  • Nutrition

  • Format every video properly for vertical platforms
  • Edit 16:9 content when needed
  • Export videos in the correct size, quality, and file format
  • Organize edited videos, raw footage, project files, thumbnails, and exports in the correct folders
  • Follow the content calendar and complete assigned edits on time
  • Understand the goal of each video before editing
  • Make revisions quickly based on feedback directly from the Fitness Coach
  • Keep the editing style consistent with the Fitness Coach’s personal brand
  • Pull usable clips from longer videos and identify the strongest moments without needing every clip handed to you
  • Add music and sound effects when appropriate without making the video distracting
  • Make sure every final video is clear, professional, and built to hold attention
  • Help test different editing styles to see what performs best
  • Review past content performance and use that information to improve future edits
  • Stay up to date on short form editing trends, but only use trends that fit the Fitness Coach’s brand
  • Prepare final videos for posting
  • Help create a consistent flow of high-quality content every week

  • Need someone else to find every clip, every hook, and every usable moment for you
  • Have no interest in fitness, health, coaching, transformation, or personal-brand content
  • Prefer long form editing only and do not enjoy short form content
  • Are looking for a role where you can edit however you want without following a process or brand style
