Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shift Manager to lead our retail team through dynamic store operations. As a key leader on the floor, you will oversee daily activities, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain smooth store functions. Your role is vital in motivating staff, managing inventory, and driving sales growth while fostering a positive shopping environment. Duties

• Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions.
• Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and employee orientation to ensure high performance.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to optimize sales.
• Oversee customer service standards by addressing shopper inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate scheduling, shift management, and task delegation to ensure efficient workflow during assigned hours.
• Conduct interviewing and recruiting activities to build a strong team aligned with company goals.
• Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and manage store budgets to maintain financial accuracy.

Experience

• Proven supervisory or assistant management experience within retail or grocery store environments.
• Demonstrated skills in management, team leadership, and employee development.
• Strong background in retail math, sales management, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and resolve conflicts efficiently.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases better.
• Experience with POS systems, purchasing processes, merchandising, and marketing strategies is highly desirable.
