Job Title: Service Manager – Powersports Dealership

Location: Macon, GA (On-site / In-Dealership)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

The Opportunity

Our advertising agency is seeking a driven, operationally-minded Service Manager for a premier, high-volume powersports dealership. This is a leadership role designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values precision, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service experiences.

You will oversee the performance, efficiency, and culture of the Service Department—ensuring every rider receives top-tier care while maximizing department productivity and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Service Department Leadership

Lead, manage, and develop a team of technicians and service staff. You will set the standard for performance, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

Operations & Workflow Management

Oversee daily service operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, timely repairs, and optimal shop productivity. You own the workflow from check-in to final delivery.

Technical Oversight & Quality Control

Ensure all diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance meet factory standards. Review completed work, support complex troubleshooting, and uphold the highest level of quality.

Customer Experience & Communication

Act as the bridge between the service team and customers—resolving issues, communicating recommendations, and ensuring a premium service experience.

Performance & Profitability

Monitor KPIs, manage labor efficiency, control costs, and drive revenue through service, parts, and warranty work.

Compliance & Process Management

Ensure adherence to Harley-Davidson standards, safety protocols, warranty guidelines, and dealership procedures.

Required Qualifications

Experience

3+ years of dealership service experience, preferably within powersports, automotive, or high-performance retail environments. Prior leadership experience strongly preferred.

Technical Expertise

Strong understanding of motorcycle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, diagnostics). Familiarity with OEM tools, service software, and repair processes.

Leadership & Communication

Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and communicate effectively with both staff and customers.

Operational Mindset

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, improve processes, and drive efficiency.

Schedule Flexibility

Availability to work weekends, extended hours, and peak-season schedules as needed.

Passion

A genuine interest in motorcycle culture or the powersports lifestyle is highly preferred.
