Responsibilities

• Strategy & Portfolio Ownership: Oversee client SEO roadmaps to ensure execution directly aligns with business KPIs and revenue goals, prioritizing high-intent, transactional opportunities over vanity metrics.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, manage, and coach a team of 3–4 SEO & Content Specialists.
• Technical SEO & Site Health: Maintain technical standards (indexing, Core Web Vitals, architecture, schema) across accounts. Oversee SEO execution during site migrations and redesigns.
• Workflow Automation: Hands-on experience identifying, building, and implementing automations for repetitive SEO tasks to increase team efficiency.
• Content & On-Page Optimization: Partner with content specialists to capture search intent, fix keyword cannibalization, and expand overall topical authority.
• Generative Search & Innovation: Lead client strategies for AI Overviews, LLM visibility, and emerging search behaviors while leveraging AI internally to streamline workflows.
• Reporting & Client Impact: Translate GA4, GSC, and ranking data into business-level insights.
• Process & QA: Enforce QA standards for all department deliverables.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably within an agency or multi-client setting.
• 2+ years of direct people-management experience (managing 3+ direct reports).
• Deep technical SEO expertise (crawling tools like Screaming Frog, schema, Core Web Vitals, site migrations).
• Proven fluency with GA4, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs (or similar).
• Solid knowledge of AI search optimization (AI Overviews, LLM visibility).
• Ability to link SEO performance to client revenue and lead goals.
• High autonomy, strong attention to detail, and professional communication skills
