Responsibilities

• Collaborating with staff to create original and creative content for websites, social media campaigns, and other marketing campaigns
• Assisting clients with communicating their brand through content marketing
• Supporting current staff in researching target markets for clients and their competitors' marketing efforts
• Supporting SEO efforts by implementing "search engine friendly" content to enhance Organic Search Engine Optimization as it is implemented on client websites.
• Gathering data and analyzing metrics to help improve marketing efforts
• You will be a part of our mission in developing marketing campaigns and gathering related metrics for current marketing projects to help eager small businesses flourish.
• You will work alongside your team of other SEO content strategists, the director and designers to learn how to measure, engage, drive and convert consumer data into tangible marketing campaigns.
• Improving not only your own skillset but the growth of local businesses and organizations (Paid training available)

Requirements

• Experience: Creative writing, English or a similar discipline.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in content creation
• At least 1-2 years of local SEO experience
• Have strong presentation and communication skills
• Have a positive attitude and a sense of humor
• Have a strong work ethic and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines.
• Previous agency experience desired
• Working knowledge of Google Ads, WordPress, Looker Studio, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Trello, Basecamp and SEMrush is a major plus (based on experience)
• Required education: Bachelor's Degree or Relevant Experience
